I
arrived in the Twin Cities yesterday, and I’m so excited about starting my
National Student Exchange this week! The car was packed full on my way to the University
of Minnesota, with my mom as my road trip buddy! We broke up the 1200 mile (and
8-state) drive from NC over a few days with stops along the way. Here’s some
highlights from the trip:
Albanese
Candy Factory in Indiana - came for the gummy bears, left with a 5-pound bag.
Stopped
in Chicago traffic means skyline picture opportunities! This really put USC traffic into perspective.
Kopp’s frozen custard in Milwaukee; the flavors pictured here are Key Lime Pie and Turtle.
Stop
in Madison, WI (the state capital, not to be confused with DC)
4 days later...Welcome to Minnesota!
Classes start Tuesday, so more pictures to come of my dorm, campus, and beyond!
